Igor Razoryonov
(UKR): It was my first event following knee surgery last year that
kept me away from active competition, so Im very happy that I won the
category. I need to work hard to break the European record, although I
might have achieved that today, had I had more pressure from my
opponents. The organisation was of a very high level and the presence
and support of the fans was decisive in helping lifters achieve good
results.
Alan Tsagaev (BUL): I am very
satisfied, because I managed to lift in the competition the weights I
lift in training. Still, I feel I could have managed 2.5 kg. more each
in the snatch and the clean & jerk. I need to work harder, because these
weights are not good enough for the Olympic Games, which are the
ultimate goal of any athlete.
Vladimir
Smorchkov (RUS): I will try to work harder on my clean & jerk. As
far as the Athens Olympics are concerned, first I must concentrate on
making the National Team and then work for the best.
