Milen Dobrev (BUL):
“I was expecting to have a tougher competition today, but I was
prepared for it, and if the need arose I was ready to lift more weight.
I hope to meet Kakhiasvilis when he will be in a better condition. This
is an excellent organisation and I’m very satisfied with everything.”
Sergey Zhukov (RUS):
“My original goal was to be amongst the top three, but during the
competition I did gain aspirations for the gold medal. I’ve been only
half a year in this category and this was my first major competition in
the 94 kg., so I need to try and lift more weight.”
Tadeusz
Drzazga (POL): “I didn’t expect to win any medals here, because I’d
been away from active competition for three years. I’m only sorry for
the snatch, because I could have lifted 2.5 kg. more. This is a very
high-level event in terms of organisation.”
